OFFICIAL FORUM RULES

Failure to follow these rules may result in disciplinary action up to and including expulsion from the forum. First time offenders may be given prior warning before further action.

*Notes: FAMT refers to the Forum Administration/Moderating Team and is inclusive of all administrators and moderators, both on the Forum and the Nation-States AKTS region page. "Nation-State" or "NationState Discussions" refer to all non-real-world discussions, in which case policies, politics, governments, etc. are not real entities. The FAMT reserves the right to take disciplinary action regardless if the individual reads the rules or not.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS:
1.1 -Registration requirements:

There is no requirement for a user to use their real name or to use any other form of identification that can be used to easily trace identities. All e-mail addresses that are provided will be kept private.

Users are solely responsible for protecting their accounts from access by others. Users are strongly encouraged to select a hard-to-guess password and not re-use that password on any other sites where it may be read by the owners or administrators of that site. It is highly recommended that board users do not share their accounts with others, or share their computers used to access the site with others. In case of the lost or hacked around, users are to inform support immediately.

1.2 -Forum purpose:

The purpose of this Forum is to discuss anything related to Nation-States, the Axis of Kind Totalitarian States, Nation-State policies, to get to know fellow members, and to give feedback to the regional leaders.

1.3 -Responsibility:
The FAMT is not responsible for any message posted by any user: the messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the support staff or moderators immediately. FAMT members have the ability to remove objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time limit, if it is found that removal is necessary. Users agree, through the use of this service, that they will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Users agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by said user or by this board.

Violations of these guidelines may lead to users being banned from this Forum in the form of a temporary or even a permanent suspension of their account.

If a member is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

• Be officially warned and/or temporarily banned from the Forum, depending upon severity.

• Be given a final warning, with any further violations possibly resulting in permanent ban from the Forum.

This behavior has no place on the Forum due to its extremely offensive and inappropriate nature.

2.2 -Distribution of real life information and real-life threats:

Postings and discussions which contains users’ personal data (such as addresses, telephone numbers, emails, other contact information), regardless of whether this is their own or that of other users, will be removed. Users who publish this type of content on the Forum will be warned or suspended by a member of the FMAT.

If a thread or post is in violation of the Forum rules, users are encouraged to use the report button on the post and provide information as to why the thread or post is in violation.

No rude or disrespectful posts to or about any member of the FMAT, as well as no release of real-life information about any member of the FMAT.

The only possible complaint regarding the actions of a member of the FMAT from a Community member is by providing a screenshot of their inadequate behavior to a member of the FMAT administrative team.

Real-life threats include both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which refers to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the Nation-State world.

If a member is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

• Be officially warned and/or temporarily banned from the Forum, depending upon severity.
• Be given a final warning, with any further violations possibly resulting in permanent ban from the Forum.

2.3 -Advertising:

Users are not allowed to post threads or comments here that advertise or solicit any non-beneficial, non-NationState-related businesses, organizations, or websites. Explicit advertising and solicitation in signatures are also prohibited.

If a member is found to have been advertising, they will:

• Be officially warned and/or given a temporary ban from the Forum, depending upon severity.

2.4 -Accounts, begging/money, services:
This category includes:

•2.4.1 -Creating alternative accounts with malicious intentions.
•2.4.2 -Advertising of, or selling of accounts.
•2.4.3 -Advertising of, begging for, or selling of money.
•2.4.4 -Advertising of, or selling of services.

•2.4.6 -Linking to or promoting websites that contain the above prohibited services.
All types of posts for the sale or promotion of the exchange or transfer of accounts, currency and other services from one user to another are prohibited within the Forum.

If a member is found to have participated in such actions, they may:

• Be given a temporary/permanent account suspension from both the game and the Forum, depending upon severity.

2.5 Off topic, spamming and trolling:
This category includes:

•2.5.1 -Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish.
•2.5.2 -Creation of topics that already exist on the forum (Please use search and add to existing topics were possible).
•2.5.3 -Off-topic posting, such as attempting to derail serious threads or creating topics in the wrong Forum section.
•2.5.4 -Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the Forum.
•2.5.5 -Creating threads for the purpose of reporting in-Forum violations. Contact a FAMT staff member to report the violation instead.
•2.5.6 -Causing disturbances in Forum threads, such as picking fights, making off-topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters.
•2.5.7 -Making non-constructive posts, or creating threads on non-constructive Topics.
•2.5.8 -Abusing the "Report" feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages.
•2.5.9 -Numbering a thread, posting “First!”, “IBTL” (“in before thread lock”) or any other fad statements.
•2.5.10 -"Bumping” posts (Bumping is where you reply to a Topic for the sole purpose of getting it back to the top of the section again). A moderated “bumping” is allowed to some extent.

Users should make sure to create new Topics in the appropriate section of the Forum: users are asked to familiarize themselves with the Forum first. This helps other users and moderators maintain an overview; also before creating a new Topic, look and see if an active thread on that topic has already been created using the "Search" feature, located at the top-right corner of the interface. If so, post your comments there instead.

Posts which drift off topic, or content-free posts will be edited or removed. Posting multiple messages with the same content across several sections is unwelcome and inappropriate, since such activities divide the targeted discussions and makes gathering feedback considerably more difficult. Such "cross posts" will be merged, closed and redirected or removed. If so, place your comments there instead.

If a member is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

• Be officially warned and/or temporarily banned from the Forum, depending upon severity.

• Be given a final warning, with any further violations possibly resulting in permanent ban from the Forum.

• Be officially warned and/or temporarily banned from the Forum, depending upon severity.
